A community garden sponsored by TRUNA is located at the bottom of Stancil Dr. on both sides of the street. Currently, there are 17 plots under cultivation by about 20 households. Gardeners are growing a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. About half of the beds are organic. Future plans include adding berry bushes. 

 

Any TRUNA member with a current paid membership may rent a garden plot, depending on availability. The annual fee is $40 per 800-square-foot plot per growing season to cover the expenses of running the garden. In addition, each plot holder shares in the cost of water supplied through a hook up with Greenville Utilities.
