Welcome

Welcome to the Tar River/University Neighborhood Association (TRUNA) website. Our neighborhood is located adjacent to the campus of East Carolina University and Uptown Greenville (North Carolina), the urban core of the city. It is bounded by the Tar River on the north, Cemetery Road on the east, Tenth Street on the south, and Reade Circle on the west. Click on brochure and map to see our neighborhood.

If you are interested in buying a home and living in the TRUNA neighborhood, you may be eligible for the city of Greenville's Down Payment Assistance Program, which assists home buyers with the down payment and closing costs.

Our website is designed to inform both current and prospective residents and the community about our neighborhood. Please feel free to contact us with comments, questions, and suggestions.
